pop ups for spyware downloads, registry cleaners, porn, casinos, ring tones, tv downlods...ALL kinds Obviously having pop-up blocker on browser bar doesn't help!? Just started happening all of a sudden I tried system restore, that didn't work either. I scaned my comp w/ my antivirus and adadware and quaranteened all infected files....what now?

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.
besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

Download the free Google Tool Bar. It has the best pop-up blocker out there, plus things like free version of Google Earth, Gmail, plus more.
If you own the non free Ad-Aware version, you can load Ad-Watch from within Ad-aware's interface (Configuration tab), this will keep you out from pissing off pop-ups. If not having the above, download and install a free pop-up blocker from a trustworthy software reviews site, personally recommending www.softpedia.com or www.snapfiles.com. Good luck.
