Can i use avast and avg at the same time?

I just downloaded AVG, and I see doesn't offer firewall (the free version), it only offers antivirus. Does Avast offer Firewall? And do I really need Firewall? If it does offer Firewall, and I do really need Firewall... should I download Avast? (I need something free)

Avast scans just about everything, but will not block things like a firewall. An alternate choice, is to run your favorite free Antivirus, with your favorite free firewall. I have used Avast and ZoneAlarm (From ZoneLabs) in conjunction and it worked great. There are many free firewalls out there that you can look at.

Avast free edition does not have firewall. You can use avast and AvG at same time. Only paid version have it.
ur proble is of firewall it is very imprtant for every computer specially which is connected to internet

i would like to tell u that u can run avg and avast at same time but there is no use of it

ur comuter needs a internet security suite which protects ur computer from any type of harm , seeing that u need some thing free try to download trial version of different internet security suites like BEST MCAFEE or kaspersky,nod32 etc

if u want a free antivirus try trendmicro or AVIRA ANTIVIRUS or avg or AVAST

i think that avast (free) doesnot have any firewall
