How to disabeTrend micro office scan client??

In the University I go to they use trend micro antivirus and it deletes most of Programe files I download I asked the Operator to disable it but he refused and said it my own problem these programmes arent harmful I swear Its just like small Utilities for programming so I'd appreciate it if somebody can help me to disable it.
