I have spyware/viruses that sbc online protction can't get rid of?

when I remove them after a scan,they reappear.they are trojans located in hkey/local/machine,which I can't locate. and there is a yellow triangular alert sign at the bottom of the screen that keeps blinking,which leads to spyware/antivirus ads.how do I deal with this without system restore or re-installation or downloading more ****?

At least unplug from the internet so no one can get more of access to your computer from afar, until you fix this.

I would recommend Norton Antivirus with Antispyware and Spysubtract, which is what I use.

You can do a scan for free at symantec (norton's website) but you have to buy the disc to get rid of the viruses.

System restore is your only other hope I think, but the last computer that I had, the computer repair guy said had a trojan that would never come out, so had to trash the computer.
