I have problem downloading in limewire?

i had limewire installed few mnths ago and i was quiet happy downloading files..but it was bit slow and i uninstalled it and tried to install other torrent s/wares but they were not so good a

so i thought of going back to limewire..now when i search a file to download it says its not connected and so it doesnot get downlaoded, i had set it to connect mode still doesnt work..i am not sure if i fiddled with antivirus or firewall thing coz limewire is in exception.. and i have already tried many times to uninstall and reinstall it.. but i m now not being able to download anything using limewire ...so mates any one wo got some koledge pls give som advice ...wud be grateful..xx

Instead of letting it save on it's default, try saving as and saving it in another file. That normally works for me.

I have that problem all the time. Usually for me the only thing that works is sitting it out. It doesn't last too long. If it has been doing it repeatedly for some time then you might have a problem. I don't know how to fix it, usually it fixes itself
