I need computer help!!!! i have a dell inspiron... and i get no picture when i turn it on... help?

So i was downloading norton antivirus software from the internet..... and it was unsuccessful.... so i let my computer hibernate over night which it does automatically.... but today i go to turn it on, and it does..... the only issue is that the screen stays black..... the backlight is on and so is everything else... but i get no picture.................so if you could tell me what i need to do to fix this that would be helpful... thanks

ok u must have left it on charge to long which burnt the motherboard... i recommend u try to restore to factory settings by pressing f11 when ur comp turns on... otherwise you should try to get a warranty claim and oh dont ever download that anti virus bullcrap it creates major issues on your comp trust me i know this stuff inside out

Hold the power button for 10 seconds until the laptop's completely off. Then wait 10 seconds, and press the power button. It should turn on.
