hello. i recently purchased a mcafee securty center. after downloading it, it says that i cannot install it because of incompatible programs (Norton Internet Security 2007) still exist. i have already uninstalled it and in fact the symantec folder doesnt even exist in my hard drive anymore. i dont know what to do and i need the antivirus working asap, please respond asap. thank you.

Good choice! McAfee Security 2008 it's the one that I recommend everybody.
Well, in order to install it you need to delete all the Norton's file and registry. There was a problem during the uninstallation of the antivirus, nothing to get worry.
All you have to do is to use a program to delete all the norton's file from your computer. Symantec has an utility to do it.
Here it is:

Just select the product that you had installed in your PC, then the program will do the rest.
